Using the longarm machine Gammill

In "Sybutiken Pastellen" this lovely girl were using the longarm machine to quilt her blanket.  Go visit her at her blog Anna Syr. The quilt were sewn from block-exchange or swap in her guild. Beautiful anyway!

What did I buy? An Ott-lite lamp, some fabrics, two zippers and a pair of rusty angel wings.

Wasted trip to Mias Quiltbod

 We drove all the way up to Surahammar only to find the quiltshop Summerclosed.....But the shop looked very interesting through the windows!

Mariefred in Sweden

We bought us hats. Aren't we lovely?

And this is the lady who sold us the hats!

Mariefred was a beatiful little town.

The weather was really nice so we eat outside. Randi Helene and Kristine in their new hats.

My coffee service is made in Sweden and is called Ostindia from Rörstrand. here you can see a jardinire in the same pattern to the right. I have never seen this before so I had to take a picture of it. Lovely, isn't it?

Our overnight stop were at a camping site. We had a really hot night inside one cabin but Randi Helene and I had a refreshing swim in the lake before breakfast. Look at Kristine's breakfasttablecloth!!!

How does it work?

Every season you can download a new pattern and, if necessary, further information: 

- June 21: releasing the first block. You'll get the pattern, a list of requirements and instructions on how to make the stitcheries. 

See picture below......

- September 23: the second block will be released together with the instructions for the corner blocks
- 3 months later, December 21, the 3th block will be released together with instructions for making the patchwork blocks
- And finally, March 21, the 4th pattern will be released as well as the final instructions to assemble the quilt.
