On our last meeting in my guild Gjøvik Quiltelag I promised to put a link to this website for all of you who wants to try another (read: new) pattern for your free motion quilting. Leah Day has challenged herself to come up with a new free motion filler design every day for a whole year. Isn't that GREAT?
She has sorted the designs by difficulty levels;
Beginner / Intermediate
Intermediate / Advanced
On her website it says: "Modern design and simplicity with a passion for color." That's for sure! Go here to download her patterns and get inspired!!!! Linda has a lot of great patterns for YOU!!

Lake Mjøsa, Norway's largest inland lake. Beautifully covered by ice and snow!
P.S. "Skibladner" is the pride of Norway's inland, and one of Norway's best-loved tourist attractions. This preserved and restored paddle steamer is over 150 years old but continues to run a timetabled service in the summer months. Now during the winter she is resting in her winterhome in Gjøvik :-)
Picture taken from the harbour of Gjøvik.

We are having a really cold wonderful winterweather these days. So I celebrate this with you with this cute snowman. You can stitch him or simply appliqué the wintertheme; I think it will turn out great in any case.
Our family is like a patchwork quilt
With kindness gently sewn
Each piece an original
With beauty all its own
With threads of warmth and happiness
Its lightly stitched together
To last in love throughout the years
