Look what Wenche has sewn to her granddaughter. Cute isn't it?
Closeup of the stars. She has used a vey sweet fabric in the middle of each star.
The granddaughter is a little girl so the quilt isn't so big eighter...., but it is a big present to give away :-)
Winni with one of her kaleidoscope-quilts. She has made quite a few and I think she has given them all away to family and friends.
Her son said he didn't have any Christmas-tablerunners! So Winni has made two scrappy Christmas-tablerunners to him. He is a lucky dog!!
Closeup of the snow crystal.
Tablerunner number two.
Every fourth Thursday in the month we gather together in Vestre Toten Lappelag. We are only eight members of this guild, but we enjoy eachothers company and talk and share a lot of quilting secrets..... Some of us are also members of Gjøvik Quiltelag so we attend two meetings a month.
Our meetings are in "Møteplassen"; a place where people with psychological or emotional dysfunction can meet during daytime. They talk, go on small trips and make something with their hands if they want to. Astrid is working in "Møteplassen" and she is a great teacher in quilting and patchwork. This tablerunner is made of leftovers from another quiltingproject by one of the users of "Møteplassen". It is really simple and beautiful!!
Ruth handstitched her potholders. She got inspired by Nina's Smutthull to make this.
Ruth got this sweet pocket with thread and scissors from her Quilting Angel (SWAP) before Christmas.
