12 freebie patterns for stitchery or redwork :-)

I found these drawings a long time ago on a website.
Unfortunately I can't remember which...., sorry.
They will be great alone or together in a quilt, I think :-)

I got this comment from Paula Shareski:
"Hi, These patterns actually belong to me. They are from Bobby Socks Quilt Company in Canada. They are no longer available free on my site but are available to buy from me. My website is www.bobbysocksqc.com. I kindly ask you to remove these patterns from your blog. Thanks so much! Paula Shareski "

Therefor I have removed these pictures. Sorry, Paula!

And don't forget to examine your breasts :-)
Take care

A visit to LappeMakeriet

I've been visiting one of my favourite quiltshops, LappeMakeriet in Bærums Verk.
Look at this lovely old-charmed sign.
The quiltshop is located in a charming old house in an area with lot of old charming buildings.
The shop is open every day of the week. Dangerous for quiltaholics :-)
The quiltshop-entrance is very cosy.
Two tablerunners displayed on a wall.
A new BOM from LappeMakeriet.
An old quilt. I think it was portrayed in Quiltemagasinet no.4 this year.
Beautiful anyway.
A course-model; the postmans bag.
A challange-quilt. Four "difficult" fabrics were chosen to take part in a quilt. This is the result of what Trine Tolfsby Bakke made out of the challange. Displayed in Gøteborg I think she said.
Handpiecing-course-model.
Alphabet-quilt.
One of many shelves filled with fabrics, beautifully displayed by colors.
A little wooden boat filled with maritime fabrics.
An advent calendar in stitching /redwork.
Quilts everywhere.

Of course, I simply had to buy a calendar for next year.
The old kitchen :-)
Enjoy all the pictures of following quilts and interior in the quiltshop:-)
Trine Tolfsby Bakke is one of the owners of the shop. A really nice lady.
Perhaps you remember her from an earlier blog-contribution? She visitted Lillehammer Quiltelag and held a lecture and a course there.
Course-models were displayed outside the shop.
A funny Christmas-stitchery.
Some pictures from the area Bærums Verk. Beautiful atmosphere, that's for sure.

I've got mail both from USA and England :-o)

Wednesday was my lucky day :-)
No bills in my post box that day. Instead an Australian Homespun magazine and.......
..........these cute boxes with 2 mini honey buns per box and one Jelly Roll. I bought these from Hancock's of Paducah. I simply love these fabrics from Moda. They advertise this Jelly Roll; "Leave your worries behind. Splurge! Have fun with it. Happy sentiments abound as you take in the fun and whimsy in Sandy Gervais' newest collection for Moda. Warm and bright. Sandy's citrus colors invite you to enjoy these fabrics. Premium 44" cotton. Honey Bun includes 1.5" by 44" strips of 40 fabrics."
And some goodies from my favourite shop in Gjøvik; Sømsenteret.
The mauve, the green, the red, the striped and the one with sheeps are all new arrivals. The other ones are sales fabrics :-)
And I had to have some batting as well :-)
And am I sewing? A little bit now and then.......
This weekend we are travelling up in the mountains with Ruth and her husband. I'm looking forward to go to their cottage, it is very cozy there.
But before I can take off to the cabin, I have to say;
Happy birtday to my sister ANNE!
Have a nice weekend everyone!
